- We never use your content to train AI models
- AI suggestions are aids, not guarantees - you're responsible for your final work
- Service provided "as is" - we're not liable for indirect damages
Acceptance of Terms
- By joining our waitlist, accessing, or using SongCanvas.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
- You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use our service
- If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use SongCanvas.ai
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time
Your Intellectual Property Rights
- You retain 100% ownership of all lyrics, melodies, songs, and creative content you create using SongCanvas.ai
- No ownership is transferred to SongCanvas.ai - your work is always yours
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for providing you with our services
- Your content will NEVER be used to train our AI models or any third-party AI systems
- We will not use your content for promotional purposes without your explicit written permission
SongCanvas.ai Intellectual Property
- The SongCanvas.ai platform, software, design, features, and AI technology are proprietary and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
- You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our platform according to these terms
- You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our technology
- All SongCanvas.ai trademarks, logos, and service marks are the property of SongCanvas.ai
Acceptable Use Policy
- Do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Do not create, upload, or share illegal, harmful, threatening, or hateful content
- Do not harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Do not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access our service
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our security
- Do not resell or redistribute our service without authorization
Account Terms & Responsibilities
Account Security
- • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
- • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- • We cannot and will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use
Account Termination
- • You may terminate your account at any time from account settings
- • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- • We may terminate accounts for prolonged inactivity (with notice)
- • Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data before deletion
Service Availability & Changes
Beta & Launch Timeline
SongCanvas.ai is expected to launch in 2026. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Beta testers may receive early access. Features and availability during beta may differ from the final product.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We strive to maintain service continuity but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance when possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
Subscription & Payment Terms
Billing (When Launched)
- • Free tier available with limited features
- • Paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually
- • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
- • Failed payments may result in service suspension
Cancellation & Refunds
- • Cancel anytime from account settings
- • Service continues until end of billing period
- • No partial refunds for unused portions
- • Refunds considered on case-by-case basis for technical issues
- • Data export available for 30 days post-cancellation
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
"AS IS" Service
SongCanvas.ai is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
AI Suggestion Disclaimer
AI-generated lyric suggestions are provided as creative aids, not guarantees of quality, originality, or commercial success. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before use.
Copyright Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your final work does not infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights. SongCanvas.ai is not responsible for copyright issues arising from user-generated content.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SongCanvas.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, revenue, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD for free tier users.
Data Backup
While we maintain regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important work. We are not liable for data loss.
User Content & Indemnification
Your Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, and share. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content you input into SongCanvas.ai.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SongCanvas.ai, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@songcanvas.ai to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to responding within 30 days.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, United States.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of SongCanvas.ai is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email (if you're on our waitlist or have an account) or prominently posted on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use of SongCanvas.ai after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SongCanvas.ai regarding the service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
